New built properties
Should you decide to purchase land, design and built your own property in the area of your choice, BPI will finance your project advising you on the formalities necessary to do so such as ensuring local permission to build on the site you wish to require, requiring the contracts to ensure a safe delivery of your newly built home. A construction contract is required which is governed by legislation and regulations known as the ‘contract CCMI’ (Contrat de Construction de Maison Individuelle). Off-plan properties
This type of property requires you to sign a reservation contract which outlines the stage payments. French regulations regarding purchase of new properties are very protective of the purchaser. The developer must have a bank guarantee in place which ensures the delivery of the property. Given the stage payments, BPI can offer you the financial solution during this period.
